Accrington Stanley Community Trust is delighted to announce that Accrington’s first-ever padel courts are coming soon to Stanley Sports Hub.
Following the successful approval of our planning application, construction is now well underway on two brand-new, covered and floodlit padel courts at Stanley Sports Hub.
The development represents another major investment in our facilities and a further step in our mission to provide high-quality, inclusive and accessible sporting opportunities for the Hyndburn community.
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK and combines elements of tennis and squash to create a fun, social and fast-paced game that is easy to pick up and suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Our two new courts will feature a fully covered canopy, allowing players to enjoy padel throughout the year, alongside floodlighting and dedicated infrastructure to create a high-quality playing experience.
The courts are currently scheduled to open in November 2026, bringing padel to Accrington for the very first time.
